Funding Success : #EOFF2014 Cleared for Launch

EOFF2014 Fundraiser Art Center

On January 15th, 2014 EOFF supporters participated in the annual sneak peek fundraiser party held at the Art Center at the Old Library.  The evening included choice food from La Grande’s Golden Crown Restaurant,  Terminal Gravity in the bottle, a raffle, a live auction, and marked the festival pass sale release.

The event entertained over 200 fest-thirsty folks and the excitement and anticipation for #EOFF2014 was very apparent.  EOFF sold out of the early bird passes within a couple of hours, distributed Anthony Lakes Ski Tickets, Treefort Music Fest Passes, and locally crafted deserts at the LIVE auction with guest auctioneer Jeff D. Clark. EOFF garnered additional funds from a successful raffle that included festival music packages, locally crafted items, and a rebuilt 1950’s Raleigh street bike by Mountain Works’  pedal-smith Matt Hibbert. Audiences took to the seats as EOFF unveiled a grip of trailers from their upcoming festival program including Dave Carroll’s feature documentary, BENDING STEEL, giving the audience the first look at what is to come.

The fundraiser was a strong indicator of community buy-in and support as the FIFTH ANNUAL Eastern Oregon Film Festival is set to take place February 20-22, 2104 in La Grande, Oregon. Festival passes are on sale now on the website or by calling Christopher Jennings, Festival director at 541-962-5799.
